3-d Digital Cinema

The Museum offers film presentations in 3-D with its state-of-the-art digital projection system. Using polarized light rather than traditional red/blue lens filters, the high-definition system offers Museum audiences dramatically crisp images and an exciting presentation format to experience while in the Exhibit Halls.

Waking the T. Rex: The Story of Sue (3-D Cinema)

A T. rex named Sue comes to life again as scientists use fossil clues to re-create her eventful life onscreen — including a tumultuous battle with a Triceratops. Some scenes may not be suitable for young children. (details).

Wild Ocean (3-D Cinema)

Huge schools of sardines encounter predatory humans, gannets, seals, dolphins, sharks, and penguins in a feeding frenzy off the coast of South Africa. (details).
